Matt & Ashley
This was an especially fun shoot for us, an opportunity for us to spend some quality time with some of our favorite people and then meet thier mates! Also, equally charming! We had a great time stopping at some pre-planned surprise locations, only for them to surprise us in the end with a lovely bottle of wine from the vineyard we took them to. We are really looking forward to your bridal shoot and can't wait for your big day at the Gassaway Mansion. We know it will all be gorgeous and you will be stunning.

Here is to Dana and Matt that have become our friends, we know you might deny we are but there is no way you would want to keep doing these shoots with us if you didn't like us. We had so much fun treating you like our PlayDoh and making fun of you while doing it. What can we say, you are beautiful and you make us laugh, too. An after shoot was a great idea and we think will see more "blue steel" in the future...BLISS, bliss...and more bliss.

Cody and Erin are two of the most genuine people I have meet. Erin was so busy during her wedding catching up with everyone and Cody was right beside her. In Cody's speach he talked about how it seemed impossible to narrow down thier invite list because they had a special place for all of the people that came, leading to their beautiful backyard wedding that could have easily filled a convention center. You can tell the care you give people has already come back to you. Much Bliss.
October Engagement, Peter and Tiffany
We had a great shoot with Peter and TIffany nice and early in the morning...not exactly Peters cup of tea, but after his sugar and coffee he was more than a model, he was supportive and sweet. He was willing to go the distance and so was Tiffany, you would never know how cold they were or how hard their teeth were chattering, they were having fun and we caught some of those moments. Special thanks to Natalie, great job.

Carr's
We enjoyed our first weekend of October by photographing a wedding at the Gassaway Mansion for the first time and it was gorgeous...everything about it, the bride and groom, Amber and Tristan. We look forward to our next adventure with the Carr's. Congratulations and best wishes.

Here is a wedding I have been meaning to post for a little while. Kwame and Tabatha were married at the Carolina First Center back in June. It was a wedding that was special to me because it felt like family. It was as if the DJ were playing music my dad used to play and we would make dances up to. Lots of Motown. Yes, it could have a lot do with the fact I am from Michigan, but there was more. Your families were welcoming and warm. Everyone was so happy to be together and more, to celebrate you two coming together. We wish you all the best and can't wait to see your new family in the future. Thank you for your kindess.

Thank you to Matt and Dana for inviting us into your important day. Paul had a great time hanging out with a bunch of like-minded fellas that could "get" him. As for me and my sneaky cup of coffee??? I had a great time being with the girls and getting to know a really warm group that made me feel so welcome and like we had been friends for a long time. Dana, your event planning skills were apparent, the wedding down to every detail was gorgeous, and so were you, so happy we were able to share so many laughs. Congratulations and Bliss. xoxo

Outer Banks in June
So, yes, it has been quite a while since I have added anything to our blog, but now I plan to catch up. This summer was full of change for us as a family. We finally moved! We love Greenville, so our move was not a long one, just a big one. Our first blog is about a trip we took back in June with our family to the Outer Banks. It was a great time to spend with my brother and his family. If anyone is interested in ever doing a shoot out there, count us in. The sound side made a perfect backdrop. Thank you Ken and Steph for such a wonderful trip and company.

We love seeing our children grow strong and having a good time while doing it. Congratulations to our girls for completing another season and a big hug for our Josey for getting her last skill- you worked so hard to get across that bar, WOOOHOOO! level 2.
